Both books are on two different levels with me as you’ll see both of these perspective reviews. It is really fascinating to me to realize just how well this Extreme Studios revival has gone. I think that Prophet and Glory take the concepts and push them in entirely different directions and that’s a good thing. Bloodstrike is a beast of embracing just how fun this concept could have been and taking it to the next level. I’m pleasantly surprised, I mean really I’m still in awe of how this has gone over. Image Comics has literally managed to develop one of the strongest lineups in comics right now even outside of the Extreme Studios material. That’s just a small piece of the impressive creator owned pie.
In fact I’ve been asked recently to do a sort of post on my favorite comics and just my favorite things period..maybe that’s not a bad idea.
